Looks like Tin.....

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday, hosted by Susan from Between Naps on the Porch, Thank you Susan. Susan is celebrating her 1 year Blogoversary this week so be sure to join in and wish her well and don't miss all the wonderful giveaways she is doing this week. BNOTP is such an inspiring blog and Susan does the most amazing tablescapes ever~ To me Black eyed Susans are a transition flower....end of summer kind of thing. It is over 90 degrees today and it does not feel like the end of summer.

I found these great dishes, the name on the bottom said Granite Stoneware. They look like tin, but feel like stoneware. I only got four place settings and now wish I had gotten more. I have several tin pieces that I have picked up here and there. I think I like the farmhouse feel of it. Enamelware is so useful too!

This old coffee pot has flowers in it lots of times and the little bowl is new, but looks like my old pieces.

I like the mix of old stoneware and the glitter of glass. Everyone needs a little sparkle :)

Here is a closer look at the plates. The old silverware I found in a yard sale and my napkins and placements are Williams & Sonoma.

Now I told you it is hot, make that Hazy Hot and Humid....is this a heat wave yet? I weeded in the vegetable garden for 3 hours this morning, phew the heat was tiring, now I want you to see what my grandson was doing....by the way I did join him!

I love your table settings. I have a coffee pot like that and keep flowers in it and I also have enamel ware dishes which I also like. You also have a beautiful home.

Have a great day!!!

I love your black eyed Susans with the napkins--a perfect combination! Your pool is lovely and you certainly deserved a dip after 3 hours of weeding!

Great table! I love your furnishings on the table as much as the furnishings everything sits on! Really nice home!
Pool too! Can I come over?
All the best,
Eileen

Whew!! Looks like the little guy has the right idea. My beds are awful... it is too hot and humid in Alabama to worry about that now. Plus, it will give all my neighbors a lovely surprise when I do clean it all up.. LOL! The doors on my blog were just inspiration photos I found while googling. If I can get mine to look half that good this year, I will be very happy!! :) Your table setting is beautiful!! :)

I loved this one! You put it all together so nicely, and it looks great on that wonderful farm table!

I'd really like to find some flatware like yours ... always on the lookout for it but, so far, all I've found was a boxed fish set ... and it was quite pricey!

Your pool and backyard setting look fantastic! Looks like a wonderful place to relax ... after all that weeding!

Bye for now,
Bill

I bought the only enamel plate left on a clearance table at a gift shop. I've been looking for a place to buy some sets. Could you tell me where you got yours?
Thanks!
