Thanks for stopping by my new blog! And...Hi Donna,
Thanks for stopping by my new blog! And no, I don't think you ever stop missing someone after they are gone. I lost my mom in July and so many times I've went to the phone to call her and then I remember. It has been a hard year for so many, we have to just keep focusing on being thankful for what and who we do have and appreciate every minute. My Son-in-law was killed last month too and that has been harder than losing my mother. She was ill and older and ready to go and had been suffering. My SIL was taken suddenly and still young with children at home. Such a tradegy for us all especially my daughter and children. It has been hard to think about our blessings but we truly have many.
Thanks again for stopping in...
Counting My Blessings,
SonyaSonya Badgleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18141474541370777646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4579551311159938452.post-55829453636267789722010-10-23T22:30:40.355-04:002010-10-23T22:30:40.355-04:00You are so right, appreciate your family. She is unable to do many things any longer.

Take care and you will always have such loving and fun memories. The Farmers Oldest Daughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05148174221331557648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4579551311159938452.post-59893691557129371022010-10-22T19:02:30.548-04:002010-10-22T19:02:30.548-04:00I am sure it is very hard to not have been with yo...I am sure it is very hard to not have been with your sister this year ...and missing your mom so! I have not lost a parent to death so I have no words of wisdom. I have lost my mom in a totally different way. The body is there but the person is not the same. It is still sinking in that I won't be doing fun things with my mom anymore either.

I hope you and your sister can plan something special before another year passes!

Big hugs!!Linda - Behind My Red Doorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440663909785788611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4579551311159938452.post-17863835407625976202010-10-21T17:14:51.450-04:002010-10-21T17:14:51.450-04:00(((HUGS))) It does get easier but certain things b...(((HUGS))) It does get easier but certain things bring it all back.. My mom has been gone 10 years now and sometimes it doesn't feel that way when something comes up...then other moments I feel it has been such a long time since she has been gone.. At first she was in my thoughts every day..I wanted to pick up the phone and just chat.. now there are several days that go by that I don't think about her.. Most of the time I have talks with her when times are tough going..She always knew what to say.. I embrace the tears and memories I still have with my mom..LisaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10476106116117964270noreply@blogger.com
