Now I wait~

It all started when I painted the woodwork in this room and then the upper hallway was the last of the dark stained trim~I am happy to report there is no more dark wood to be found here!

The guest room at the top of the stairs.

The priming and sanding are done. I am waiting for the carpenter to come to put up the crown moldings and to adjust all the doors. I don't want to put the finish color on the walls until he is done. I will still need to get all the paper off the foyer and stairwell before he comes to do the wainscoting and crown down there. So this is when I stand now.

So now my list for the upper hall is :
1.Have Crown moldings installed
2.Have doors adjusted
3.Paint walls crown point sand
4. Stencil
5. Start on stairwell and foyer!

Hey girl....I love the color on the doors! I know you must be wore out...I have taken down wallpaper before and it don't come off easy! I know you must be excited...makes you feel like you're in a new home doesn't it and you didn't even have to pack! lol I painted the top of my kitchen cabinets black yesterday...now top and bottom ones are the same...ohhhhh glory I love them!!!! I was born to have black cabinets! lol I just put the doors back on and cleaned up and I am so tired I could drop to the floor...this decorating and remodeling business is hard work...I think I'll tell Bill I need a raise! lol Can't wait to see your 'new' finished home...have a great week sweetie....Picket

First of all - I think my forsythia will bloom with a backdrop of snow this year!! LOVE your header...

What a change - you are really making headway though I bet it doesn't feel like that with the list you still have.

Looking forward to seeing you the 12th!! BIG HUGS!

This is my first visit to your blog, and I am so amazed at what you have done and are going to do. Just beautiful!

Now, if you would like a rather long road trip and bed and meals, I would be thrilled to use your energy at my place.

I will be back to read more, and drool over your things.
