~Saltglaze~

I am home here with a sore throat, trying to use my time sorting cleaning and rearranging. I started to put some of my salt glaze together for a bit more impact....I am not sure where it is going so as I wash it I am putting it on the floor. Mostly my older pieces because the newer pieces I use in the kitchen. I have had them scattered around the house. I use them to hold plants and such. I was a bit surprised as I put it all in one spot. Maybe I need a new to me old prim shelf to put it all on.

Oh boy, the dust here is unbelievable. I love how refreshed everything feels when I move dust or wash and rearrange. Now if it just warms up a bit I'll be happy.

It always helps to "tweak" things, feels good to body and soul. It all looks great. I especially love the twigs, or branches, they look so wintery. I have some that I have added wooden chickadees to, reminds me of winter in New England. Hope you are feeling better soon! Blessings ~Sara

I am sorry you aren't 100%. I hope you feel better ASAP! My throat isn't too hot either and I know exactly which little girl is to blame!!

I think you have way too much to do to be washing and dusting those pieces. And surely you don't want to spend your hard earned cash on some way to display them. Because I love you so much, tell you what, I will take them off your hands and save you the trouble, how's that??

You can stop laughing now! LOL

Big hugs my friend!! <3

Everything looks so nice and fresh, Donna. I just love salt glazed pottery!
I, too, have spent the day cleaning out my craft room; purging items that I no longer "need" and keeping those that I truly do.
I hope you are feeling better soon. There are a lot of nasty viruses out there now!

They are beautiful! I'd like to ask a question from an old post: your room with the beadboard wallpaper. . . do you know the paint colors you used there? They are gorgeous, and I'd love to add them to my list of "maybe's." Thanks so much. . .

to Jody: I have no way to contact you so I hope you come back for the answer to your question. Or feel free to email me at Donnag456@aol.com My colors in that room are Benjamin Moore colors, I love thier paint. The top is Elkhorn AF105 and the bottom is Bennington gray.HC82 My kitchen cabinets are the same. While it is a nice cream color the name gray throws some people. It is an all time favorite for me. Good luck.
