~Autumn Visit~

Look Mom!

Here comes Auntie!
This is to you Margie! My only best sister lives in Texas and loves to come home in the Autumn. Due to work she had to come home a few weeks early. It was a quick visit~and don't you know it rained the whole time she was here. We took an overnight trip to Maine and the time just flew by. Not one picture of the two of us was taken, but a some of us as couples.
In front of Kendall Tavern Inn where we stayed. This is my sister and her sweetie.
 Freeport, Maine, Ken and I
 Lands End, Bailey Island Maine
Come on in....the front yard has a red-orange glow from the oaks, these are photos taken today and I wish my sister was here to see the beautiful color.  My little potting shed tucked in for the winter. Margie, see Dale's tree...

The reds and orange pop against the green of the hemlock trees.
So Margie I raise my cup of warm spiced cider to you and wish you were here to sit down back in the chairs and enjoy it with me.

Margie, I know you remember when none of this was here, just trees. There are so many memories for us all. Family makes it all special! I am glad you came home and shared your new joy with us, most of all I am glad you are my sister!

Oh my goodness you live in a dream. I would love to walk through a yard like that everyday. Lands End looks pretty. I am glad you had a good visit with your sister. -Steph-

Thank you so much for the pictures. I can't wait to show them to Dale! Although I want him to experience a wonderful New England Autumn this visit offered exactly what we needed. I am so thankful for my family who always has the door open and my hot tea waiting. Love you with all my heart!

How fun to be able to visit with your sister even if it was short...I have a sister that lives an hour away and I rarely see her...you are so fortunate with even a short visit.

Goodness I forgot about L.L. Bean and the big boot...we visited there several years ago and loved the area.

Your home is to die for...I say that almost every time I visit here...but I really think it's just the best setting I've ever seen.

Hi Donna....it is so beautiful where you live and then the added bonus of being close to Maine...I love Maine...I do't think the last time I was at LLBean that the big shoe was out front...i would have remembered that one!!
Question??.....I see you have bent willow furniture outside...How does it do with the weather...I have a whole set and the husband doesn't want me to put it outdoors....I would rather have it outside then not use it at all....I had it at the old house and it doesn't match inside the new house....let me know if you would....and a Happy Thanksgiving!!
