Not to much going on here. I am really waiting for Spring so I can get out in the garden. My Christmas present from my son was that he re built our old arbor. I had showed him a picture and this was what he did.
Now I can't wait until spring to see the roses come to life. I want to stain it to keep the natural weathered look. I just love how it came out and it was a total surprise.
So here is the before, just so you can see what a huge improvement her made.

Oh what a thoughtful son you have. That will be so nice when spring and summer finally get here. It won't be long before we are digging in the dirt. Blessings ~Sara

It is beautiful. I have always thought they were a piece that welcome us home or guests in to visit. Looking forward to spring to. I love planting & watching the growth as it is cared for. Blessings!

I could use your son in my garden. I had an inexpensive arbor that the wind blew down in no time. I finally had to relocate the rose because we just are not carpenters here! Your arbor is wonderful. Such talent!
Hi Donna....love the arbor.your son did a great job...I can imagine how beautiful it's going to look with roses all around....Hope you recovered from your bad throat...I'm sure the cold weather didn't help your recovery.....Have you had much snow yet?.....
Donna: Hi! Oh, you are so lucky to have a son with so much talent and how beautiful your Arbor is now! Better than any in catalogs or on-line. Can't wait to see it with your roses. have a great day!

I love that archway. I have to try to get my husband outside before Spring to do ours. Its like pulling hens teeth to try to get him to do stuff in the garden. I have a cheap metal arch right now and the vine I planted grew really well and needs more support. Of course the two he did in the back garden (for swings) the vines did not flourish out there. So, anyway..........seeing yours made me think of that. I suppose we do have to wait for the ground to thaw so he can dig.............
