Happy Valentines Day

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day!

I got this great chalk board last weekend,,,hubby and I drove up to New Hampshire to a place called Sage Farm Antiques. Poked around a bit. This was my big purchase. What a difference it makes using chalk on real slate. My other boards are chalk board paint and it does not flow as easily or clean as good. While this slate has some white spots in it they seem to show more in the picture and less in real life. I love it. I just need to decide where I will hang it.

The kitties don't like all this rain......ahhhh the mess because the ground is frozen it just sits on top of it. So there is snow, slush and water. But it is February and this is New England~

Love your new slate, too! Looks like it is a good size.
We will be under a couple of feet of snow when all is said and done tomorrow... ugh. I've had enough!
Happy Valentine's Day!!

What a wonderful slate..and cute kitties! It is suppose to rain here over the weekend, which may cause flooding with the ice. Hopefully not, Janice

I love chalk boards. They are so fun to create with. Oh what lovely kitties. They look as forlorn as my four do with this nasty weather. Not even the squirrels are out today.
